When do we start?
I grew up living in the advertising world. I owe much of my interest in design to my parents. Zolez, which was the name of my family's advertising agency in the Dominican Republic, was my second home for more than 15 years.
Graphic design seemed like the best choice for me when I graduated from highschool, since I would spend most of my time drawing my classmates and painting murals for talent shows. Thanks to a very good highschool teacher I ended up studying at one of the most spectacular design schools, Chavón, a magical place in a small corner of the world in a town called La Romana.
In 2006 I moved to New York City to finish my studies at Parsons The New School for Design, thanks to a full scholarship I won at my previous school.
As a student at Parsons I dedicated my time to learn new software, such as After Effects and Flash, allowing me to discover all the different possibilities for my designs.
After three years of great experiences living at the Big Apple, having worked with extremely talented people, I moved back to Santo Domingo. I landed a job as a graphic designer for an interior design company and many freelance projects. Two years later, I was hired to work as a web designer at a creative design studio, where I still create amazing work with everybody around me.
Today, after having worked in different environments I have had the opportunity to adjust quickly and easily, demonstrating my capacity to efficiently communicate and apply my knowledge in diverse areas. I am highly organized and dedicated person that enjoys working in a team or independently with creative and detailed projects.
